After a quick introduction to recall the basics of Performance Based Navigation, this course will review the preflight preparation including FMS use, navigation database, ICAO flight plan, RAIM and more. We will consider the pre-takeoff verification and the inflight procedures as well. A focus will be made on the RNAV specifications while in flight and all the RNAV associated procedures. The last part of the course will treat the contingencies we may face about PBN issues.
